Bringing Daily Actions to Life

This
is a wonderful book for both professional artists and
beginners. It breaks down figure drawing into simple

will appreciate. Professionals will enjoy the different
dynamic poses of the basic figure types (it shows poses
from many different angles). It also demonstrates movement
very well, showing how simple movement (walking, running)
breaksdown, as well as martial art manuevers such as
low and high kicks, different styles of punches and
jump kicks can translate smoothly into drawings.
How
to Draw Manga:
Occult & Horror (How to Draw Series)
by Hikaru Hayashi
A
great addition to any one learning how to draw creatures
and monsters of nightmares of the manga world. I found
the techniques within this book exyremly helpful in
creating my own ghouls and creatures for my drawings.
From effects as the ghost blending in with the background
to the skeletons. It also has good ideas for fantasy
creatures for you RPG fanatics out there.
How
to Draw Manga:
Bishoujo/Pretty Girls
by Hikaru Hayashi (Illustrator)
This
book is great. It teaches you the basic techniques of
drawing manga. It has a great part on drawing power
suits, mermaids, angels, chiby characters, cat girls,
and more. I suggest if you want to learn how to draw
manga you buy this book.
How
to Draw Manga:
Bishoujo Around the World
by Hikaru Hayashi
This
is actually a very nice book if you're intrested in
drawing female characters, but as some others said,
you need a sturdy background in drawing anime style.
Other than that, this book is just...beautiful! There's
a stunning "Girl From the Arabian Nights"
drawing at the back that if you don't like the book,
just buying the book for that paticular picture is worth
it!
